WANT TO HELP DUBLIN BOWIE FESTIVAL ? …….
Dublin Bowie Festival is managed by a team of volunteers who receive NO financial benefits. They are a small team who work tirelessly to bring our annual Festival to you and do so all for the love of their hero David Bowie.
Dublin Bowie Festival began in 2016 on the weekend that David Bowie passed away. The Festival has run every year since to bring music, fine art, photography, fashion, theatre, literature, poetry, spoken word, graphic design, technology, dance, cinema, LTGBQ+, banter, cabaret, comedy, quizzes, markets, food and of course, the multitude of musical genres Bowie himself traversed and all those he inspired and influenced.
Dublin Bowie Festival has become one of the highlights of the music scene in Dublin each year and attracts visitors from all over the world. Last year we had almost 8,000 people attend our Festival. Over the last number of years we have had attendees from across Ireland, U.K., France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Iceland, Germany, The Netherlands and from the United States
Dublin Bowie Festival has received NO FUNDING since 2020 and the Festival relies solely on ticket and merchandise sales. Every cent we receive goes towards our Festival events. Our team receive nothing but our thanks and love.
