Dublin Bowie Festival takes over Dublin’s most revered rock n roll venue Whelans for day and night to bring you a feast of live music, a Young Americans listening party, panel discussion, screenings and more. Then, for those of you left standing we will have a DJ set to cap the night off

The London Boys - The ever popular band cover Bowie’s 60’s songs. Usually unheard Bowie tracks brought alive by the brilliant Brian Brody. Do not miss… You won’t be disappointed.

Playback - The band that has become a Festival favourite perform some funky cuts from Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station and beyond. Smokin soul music to ignite your fire.

The Savage Hearts - As first timers to the Dublin Bowie Festival with their cover of the fabulous, but often overlooked album ‘Pin Ups’, we are sure to be in for a huge treat. Sing and dance along at this special gig to songs rarely heard.

Monica Frank - all the way from the USA, comes classical pianist Monica Frank who will play a selection of self arranged Bowie songs.

Sing along a Bowie - Compared by the talented Brian Brody on stage. Lyric sheets from Bowie songs will be distributed to all participants and arrangements will be taught to the audience. Then…we …. ‘Sing along a Bowie’ !! Don’t be shy…. sing your hearts out!

There will be plenty of seats in the bars situated in ajoining rooms - so your sore feet and body can take a well earned rest when needed.
